In the course of living, we develop ways of coping with difficult or overwhelming experiences. These patterns may initially provide protection, but in the long run can become painful or problematic. I help my clients slow things down and create space to notice the function of their symptoms. As they do this, they become more familiar with different facets of themselves.

From a foundation of compassion and non-judgment, my clients build new relationships with parts of themselves that are stuck in old ways of being. Often, burdens in the form of deeply held beliefs or painful past experiences become apparent. As this happens, new possibilities for change unfold.

Using safe and effective ways of working, these long held burdens can be released, allowing healing at a deep level. As this happens, symptoms ease. Clients also often describe a fundamental shift in their sense of presence, ability to stay calm in stressful situations and deepening in their connections with self and others.
